Phil joined Valuation Consulting in March 2026 to lead the team. Prior to joining Valuation Consulting, Phil was a partner at RSM UK, where he spent 10 years building the practice. Before this Phil qualified (ICAEW) at BDO UK, where he spent 4 years working the valuations team.

Phil’s practice covers valuations for a variety of purposes, with specialisms in:

• IP valuation including brands, patents and technology.
• Incentive scheme valuations, with a deep expertise in the valuation of Carried Interest units for global private equity funds.
• Valuations for financial reporting purposes including all aspects of PPAs, share options and goodwill valuations; and
• Business valuations for commercial and restructuring purposes.

Across these practice areas, Phil brings to Valuation Consulting 15 years of experience exclusively working in and leading specialist valuation teams. Phil’s client base ranges from global private equity funds through to innovative start-up and VC-backed businesses.

Phil is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds an MA (Hons) from the University of Oxford.
